Monday was a national holiday known as Heritage Day. We had the day off and decided to go just outside of Johannesburg to the Rhino and Lion Reserve. We went with 4 other American missionary couples.
As much as everyone tells Jan to stay in the car she has this uncontrollable urge to make friends with the locals

Okay Mom we know you are like a deer in head lights when it comes to seeing the 'WILD' animials. You here them callin your name don't you. "Hey Jan come here I have something to show you" Or do they intise you with some meds "Jan I've got some pain medication for your knee I know it will work better than than anything you've taken before, Trust me" Then CHOMP CHOMP you and dad be careful. Look the crock sees his afternoon snack. I'm sure dad super imposed that but it seems like the Jungles of Africa are like the inner city keep your head on a swivel. Have fun take care be careful
