Parys, South Africa

This is a nice little town that was named after Paris France because it is located on a beautiful river - the Vaal River. The town is located about one hour south of Johannesburg. We just visited on a Saturday and had lunch. A nice quiet pleasant outing away from the bustle of the big city.

This was interesting as it turned out to be a small baptismal service of a tribal/christian(?) sect that included both immersion and sprinkling.
